A TEENAGER had his McLaren supercar seized by police after he was caught speeding.
Local officers stopped the 19-year-old, who was spotted speeding in New Brighton last night (Sunday, January 29).
Officers from Wallasey seized the black McLaren 570 car which the driver was reported to be driving in an “anti-social manner” in the promenade area of New Brighton.
The high-performance sports car, which costs more than £100,000, can reach speeds up to 204mph.
Following police questioning, it was discovered that the teenager was driving without insurance.
Merseyside Police officers reported the traffic offence of driving without insurance.
Posting on social media, Merseyside Police said: “Black McClaren 570s seized by officers from Team Wallasey last night after being spotted driving in anti-social manner in New Brighton.
“19-year-old driver reported for offence of driving without insurance.”
