FIREFIGHTERS rushed to tackle a ‘deliberate’ fire at a disused school last night, Friday.
Crews were called to the incident on Dingle Lane in Winsford at around 7.30pm.
One fire engine from Winsford attended and the team extinguished a small fire on the second floor of the disused premises.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “The fire is believed to have been started deliberately and police were called.
“Anyone with information should call 101.”
