Motorists are experiencing long delays on the A55 near Chester.
THERE is traffic queuing on the A55 this morning (Tuesday, January 10) after a broken down crane resulted in a lane closure.
Drivers are facing long delays after recovery work during rush hour resulted in the second lane entering the Posthouse Roundabout at J38, A483 Wrexham Road, being closed.
Both eastbound and westbound traffic is affected, adding up to an extra 50 minutes to journeys.
A traffic report states: "Queueing traffic and one lane closed due to recovery work and broken down Crane on A55 at J38 A483 Wrexham Road (Posthouse Roundabout).
"Congestion to J36 (Warren Bank interchange) for Eastbound traffic and 40 (Vicars Cross interchange) for Westbound. On the roundabout. Lane two (Of two) is closed."
