CHESTER Cathedral is set to host a very special screening of Christmas classic The Snowman and new Shaun the Sheep film The Flight Before Christmas this weekend.
The award-winning Snowman Tour will will see both films accompanied by a live orchestra made up of some of the UK's finest musicians, at the Chester venue on Saturday, November 3.
Festive favourite The Snowman adapts Raymond Briggs' much-loved story of a young boy who befriends a snowman. The 1982 animation is also renown for its iconic song Walking in the Air.
Alongside will be a brand new Emmy award-winning Aardman Studios production, The Flight Before Christmas which follows Shaun the Sheep as his seasonal excitement turns to dismay when a farmhouse raid to get stockings for the Flock goes wrong.
Set within the historic surroundings of Chester Cathedral, the live orchestra is sure to provide a unique way to bring both films to life.
Tickets are still available via Chester Cathedral website or visit: https://www.carrotproductions.com/snowman for a full list of tour dates and tickets.
