A ROAD was closed while firefighters dealt with a crash in Cheshire.
Two fire crews attended the scene on the A523/A54 at Bosley shortly after 7pm yesterday (Sunday, November 20)
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two vehicles were in collision, with the road being closed while emergency services were at the scene.
"Two people were medically trapped. Crews set up equipment to release the casualties and had a covering hose reel jet on standby.
"One of the casualties was walked out of the vehicle under the supervision of paramedics, with three people self-extricated prior to the arrival of the emergency services.
"The remaining casualty was walked out of the vehicle and handed into the care of the paramedics.
"Crews made the scene safe."
