HUGE plumes of black smoke can be seen for miles after a large fire broke out over the border in Flintshire.
A spokesperson at North Wales Fire has reported: "Crews are currently in attendance at a fire at an unit on Antelope Industrial Park, Rhydymwyn, #Flintshire.
"Local residents are asked to close windows and doors and keep away from the area while firefighters tackle the fire."
One eye witness living on Hafod Road in Gwernaffield commented that: "My husband was outside the house and heard a loud bang, then we saw the thick black smoke."
