Due to an ongoing signal fault in the Hooton area, Ellesmere Port line services are currently suspended between Ellesmere Port and Rock Ferry. A rail replacement bus is in operation between Hooton & Eport.
Chester line services continue to run throughout.

Any passengers travelling to Ellesmere Port are being advised to board Chester services and change at Hooton where the replacement service is shuttling passengers between Hooton and Ellesmere Port in both directions.
The railway operator has also warned that this may affect Chester services, resulting in cancellations or delays.
