THE family of the 24-year-old who died after falling from a balcony in Ibiza are asking for help to get her “back home where she belongs”.

Robyn Eve Maines, from Wallasey, died after falling 30ft from a balcony at the Rosamar Hotel in San Antoni, Ibiza.

The incident took place at around 9am on Sunday, September 24.

Since the tragedy, a GoFundMe page has been set up by Robyn’s aunty, Diane Morrisey, who described Robyn as a “beautiful person inside and out”.

The page has since raised more than £2,000 of its £10,000 goal.

In a statement on the fundraising page, Diane Morrisey said: “I can't believe I'm writing this,

my beautiful niece, Robyn Eve Maines has tragically passed away aged 24.

“Robyn was a beautiful person inside and out with everything to live for.

“After studying law she graduated from university and went to work in a solicitors where she made lots more friends.

“Robyn went on holiday to Ibiza with her partner and friends on 22nd September and on 25th September her mum Clare received a devastating phone call from the British consulate informing her of Robyns's death.

“To say the family are devastated is an understatement.

“All we know at present is that Robyn had fallen 30ft from her balcony with police investigations still ongoing.

“We understand times are very difficult for a lot of people right now but we are asking for help to get Robyn back home to her family where she belongs.

“If anyone can please donate however big or small it will be really appreciated and if everyone can share our post, we would be truly grateful.

“Many thanks. Rest in peace Robyn.”
