FORMER Pointless host Richard Osman has given Roberts Bakery a shout-out on Twitter after driving through Cheshire West.
The TV presenter – who created and hosted BBC One quiz show Pointless – took to social media earlier today, Monday, to voice his fascination at being able to see what goes on inside the Rudheath bakery in School Lane.
On Twitter, Richard posted: “Drove past Roberts Bakery in Northwich.
“It has huge windows so you can watch the whole factory process!
“It's hypnotic. Why has no-one told me about this before?”

Twitter users were quick to respond, with one asking him: “Did you catch the smell of baking too? I live nearby and local folk can't understand why they've never opened a fresh sandwich drive-thru!”
Another user added: “The dancing bread! At least that is what we call it in out house. Very fond memories.”
For others, the factory is a core Northwich memory.
One Twitter user said: “This is one of my most vivid memories of visiting my grandparents as a child, and now as an adult I get such incredible nostalgia driving past here on my trips back to the UK.”
And even getting stuck in roadworks is made easier with the smell of baking bread according to this resident: “When they have roadworks there, which we have a lot, you get to sit in a queue with the smell of fresh bread wafting into your car too.”
