CHESHIRE OAKS has confirmed it will be closed for the day of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's funeral on Monday, September 19.
A statement from the retail park said on Wednesday: "Following the sad news that Queen Elizabeth II has passed away, we are joining the nation in mourning as we close our UK centres on Monday, September 19, the day of Her Majesty’s funeral.
"The Cheshire Oaks Centre will resume normal trading hours on Tuesday, September 20."
The McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Cheshire Oaks shopping park will join many venues which will remain closed on Monday.
Vue Cheshire Oaks will be open on Monday, September 19, for people to watch the procession and funeral on the big screen.
The broadcast will be shown from 10am.
Seats will be free of charge and the retail offering on the day will be limited to complimentary bottled water during the broadcast, with no other snacks or drinks available for purchase.
On this day the cinema will not be showing its normal programme of films.
