A NEW open fronted restaurant in a Chester suburb has opened.

A Chester based chartered surveyors and commercial property consultancy Bolton Birch has relet the restaurant site in Hoole following a complex process.

Formerly an Indian on Faulkner Street the eatery and bar is bringing a little piece of Spain and Italy to Chester with its bright exterior and cool, vibrant interior.

New joint tenants Adam Wallace and Rhea Jordan, who both reside in Hoole and have worked in bars and restaurants in Chester previously, said: “We are really pleased and proud to be opening our first restaurant together in the place where we live, having previously worked in different venues in and around Chester.

"We will be offering a range of small plates and ‘pincho’ style food, with a relaxed way of eating and a wide range of drinks.

"We aim to make everyone who walks through the door feel welcome with a walk-in service, no bookings.

"Initially we will be open Tuesday to Sunday and look forward to welcoming locals and visitors alike.”

Martin Dodd, director at Bolton Birch, said: “Until recently, the premises were occupied by Delhi Street, whose owners ran the Hoole Indian Takeaway on Faulkner Street.

"It was sad to see them close their doors after so many years serving quality Indian food.

"But Hoole has that knack of evolving and Poco will be a great addition to this highly sought after ‘village’.

"With the experience and enthusiasm of the owners, Adam and Rhea, it will certainly be a success, we wish them all the very best.”
