FIREFIGHTERS were called to a block of flats near Ellesmere Port today (Friday, August 5) where there were reports of roof damage.
Crews from Ellesmere Port and Chester, equipped with an aerial appliance from Chester, arrived at Arbour Walk in Helsby at 12.40pm. The damage is said to have presented a danger to passers by and the aerial appliance was used to inspect the roof.
Arbour Walk was closed while firefighters assessed the damage and a loose coping stone was removed before the incident was handed over to Cheshire West and Chester Council.
