"Part of the roof space of the detached property is heavily involved in fire. Crews in breathing apparatus are using two hose reel jets and covering jets to tackle the blaze.

"Electricity supplies have been isolated. The fire is currently being tackled from outside the building."

Fire engines from Chester (plus the aerial ladder platform), Audlem, Nantwich, two from Crewe and one from Whitchurch (Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service) have been deployed to the scene.

Fire crews have divided the blaze into three sectors and are using six breathing apparatus and three hose reel jets.
