One fire crew attended the scene at about 5pm in Hermitage Road, Saughall yesterday (Tuesday, July 19).

A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters were called to a small fire involving grass and a hedge.

"They used a hose reel to extinguish it and a thermal imaging camera to check the fire was out before leaving."
