A MOTORCYCLIST who died following a collision on the M53 Southbound slipway at junction two (Moreton Spur) on Sunday has been named as dad of three Lee Nall.

At around 7.25pm on Sunday, July 17 emergency services were called to Junction 2, at the entrance to the southbound carriageway, to reports that a white and silver Suzuki motorbike was in collision with a barrier.

Mr Nall, a man in his 30s, passed away at the scene.

PS Events posted on Facebook following the news: "A devastating day for our PS Events Family. We are not just crew, we are all close, we have each other's backs, brothers, sisters!
"Heart of a lion, would work any time any place anywhere. A great mate, colleague to all the crew. RIP Lee Nall."

His family have been informed. An investigation is underway, including CCTV, witness and forensic enquiries.

Officers closed the M53 in both directions around junction 2, including the Moreton Spur.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area while the incident was ongoing.
