THREE fire engines were called out to tackle a blaze involving more than four acres of grassland in an area off a Chester estate road.
The fire engines, from Chester, Ellesmere Port and Powey Lane, were called out to the incident off Sycamore Drive, Lache, at 4.06pm on Friday, July 15.
Firefighters used water backpacks, beaters and two extended hose reels to extinguish approximately four and a half acres of grassland that was on fire.
Cheshire Police were also informed of the incident as the fire was suspected to have been started deliberately.
