FIREFIGHTERS were called out to an incident in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday, close to a retail park.

One fire crew from Chester attended the scene at about 1.10am in Stendall Road, near the Greyhound Retail Park.

A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A small fire on a patch of land was extinguished by firefighters who used a hose reel.

"The crew checked the area with a thermal imaging camera before leaving."
