GLORIOUS summer sunshine provided the perfect backdrop for another weekend of Chester racing action at the Roodee.
The Ladies & Gents Evening was held on Friday, July 8, followed by The Clogau City Plate Day the following day.

Both events featured a packed racecard of seven races each.
The feature race on Friday, The Excell Supply Handicap Stakes at 7pm, was won by Box to Box, ridden by jockey Andrew Mullen.
Chester Racecourse, Ladies & Gents Evening. The Excell Supply Handicap Stakes (Class 2) winner No 6 Box To Box jockey Andrew Mullen from No 5 Haunted Dream.
On Saturday, the feature race, the 3.43pm Raymond & Kathleen Corbett Memorial City Plate Stakes, was won by Lanequash, ridden by David Egan.
