A MAN has appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Friday, July 8, charged with three burglaries in Ellesmere Port.
James Fox, 31, of Sealand Road, Chester, also stood charged with threatening an Ellesmere Port resident with a bladed article.
Fox spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address, and was not asked to enter a plea to the charges.
The charges all relate to incidents which allegedly occurred in Ellesmere Port on July 4.
Fox is charged with stealing house keys and two car keys during a burglary at an address in Girton Road.
He is also charged with entering an address in Thornton Road with intent to steal and, once inside, threatening a resident with a red Stanley knife.
He is also charged with entering a resident's shed on Cambridge Road and stealing a petrol jerry can and petrol.
No application for bail was made.
Fox was remanded in custody and will next appear at Chester Crown Court on August 5.
