A LUXURY spa near Chester has been honoured at this year's Professional Beauty Awards.

The best businesses and individuals in the beauty and spa industry were recognised at the black-tie event held at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge, on Sunday, July 3.

Country estate Carden Park said the Spa at Carden was the winner of the Marketing and Social Media Award.

Dan Rennie, marketing manager at Carden Park, said: “We are over the moon to be recognised by Professional Beauty. As a small but hardworking marketing team, we manage to punch above our weight through a winning combination of creative strategy and a collaborative environment - complemented by our amazing spa as a subject of course!”

Carden Park is famous as the biggest Hotel and Spa in the UK on TikTok, with over two million likes and the viral videos often being seen by over three million people.

The Spa at Carden is a £10m luxury destination spa, set within the 1,000-acre grounds of the privately owned, award-winning Carden Park Hotel.

Eve Oxberry, editor of Professional Beauty magazine, said: “It’s the 25th anniversary of the Professional Beauty Awards – that’s 25 years of recognising and rewarding incredible talent and innovation within the beauty and spa industry. We had almost 300 entries this year, so it’s an incredible achievement to be announced as one of the 14 winners.”

The Professional Beauty Awards are the longest running and best-attended awards for the beauty, nails, spa and aesthetic industries, recognising outstanding customer service, treatment delivery and innovation. More than 400 leading beauty industry figures gathered in London to celebrate the finalists and winners.

The awards were presented following a Champagne reception and gala dinner. George Lamb, radio and television presenter, hosted the ceremony and guests enjoyed the post-awards party until the early hours.

The awards are judged by independent industry experts and every shortlisted salon, spa and clinic was interviewed by a member of the judging team. Therapists all attended a live final in London where they had to do a trade test in front of the judges.

Professional Beauty said over 300 properties, individuals and teams entered the 2022 awards this year.
