FIREFIGHTERS were called out to an incident in Ellesmere Port.
One fire crew from the town attended the scene in Rossmore Road West at about 6.30pm yesterday (Sunday, July 3).
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Fly-tipped material was involved in a fire which is believed to have been started deliberately.
"The fire was in a remote part of a field that the crew had to access by breaking a padlock on a council barrier.
"A hose reel jet was used to put out the fire which measured four metres by four metres and police and the council were informed."
