A MAN convicted of harassment has been slapped with an electronic tag after a breaching a court order.
Wayne Farrell, of Arkwright Close, Winsford, was convicted in May, 2020, of harassing a woman by sending her unwanted texts and phone calls.
A month earlier he had also been in court for damaging the window of her Ford Focus.
At the time a community order was made at Warrington Magistrates' Court requiring the 36-year-old to attend probation appointments.
But on January 26 and May 31 this year, Farrell missed two appointments and failed to provide evidence to excuse the absences.
Appearing at Chester Magistrates Court on June 29, Farrell admitted breaching the court order.
A new community order was made with magistrates imposing a four-week curfew monitored by electronic tag.
Farrell must stay at his home address between 8pm and 7am daily until July 27.
He must also attend further probation appointments or participate in rehabilitation activity for up to a maxium of 20 days.
Magistrates also ordered Farrell to pay £60 in costs.
