A WOMAN has been found guilty of assault following a trial at Chester Crown Court.
Michelle Gerrard, of The Crescent, Weaverham, had denied a charge of assaulting another woman occasioning her actual bodily harm on April 1, 2021.
However, following a short trial, the 39-year-old was found guilty by a jury on Thursday, June 23.
Gerrard was remanded on conditional bail until Friday, August 8 – when she will be sentenced at the same court.
As part of her bail conditions, she is not permitted to contact her victim or any of the witnesses in the case.
The probation service will now prepare a pre-sentence report.
