CHESTER is set to welcome Cosy Club to its new Northgate Street development, with the restaurant officially opening to the public from Tuesday, July 12.
The successful all-day bar and restaurant brand now brings its 'Boundless Brunch' and 'Teatime Tipple' to the city centre. Boasting small plates, gourmet burgers and classic mains together with an extensive range of drinks and cocktails, the business claims to be an "excellent after-work, after-shop and late-night spot."
Located within the former Westminster Coach and Carriage Works, which has stood in Chester since 1914, the new occupants have retained the motoring origins of the building with memorabilia together with bespoke fixtures and fittings.
Cosy Club is owned by Loungers and the new location will be the company's 200th site in total, having first started almost 20 years ago in Bristol. The first Cosy Club appeared around eight years later, and the company now has locations in both nearby Liverpool and Manchester.
Property and Acquisitions Manager for Loungers, Hux Norman said: "Chester Northgate is an exemplary scheme, one which Loungers have been eager to open in for a number of years.
"The building is beautiful, and we think that the scheme will become the new centre of Chester. We can’t wait to bring our eccentric style and fresh, modern menu to the food scene."
Around 70 jobs are expected to be created by the new restaurant.
