TWO fire crews were called out to an incident in the early hours at a disused building in Ellesmere Port.
One fire engine from Ellesmere Port and one from Powey Lane attended the scene in Station Road at about 1.50am.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews were called to a small fire on the third floor of a disused building on Station Road.
"Firefighters used one main branch and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
"A number of damaged floor boards were removed to prevent other fires from igniting, and a thermal imaging camera was used to check for hot spots."
