FIREFIGHTERS were called out to an incident in the open in Ellesmere Port.
One fire crew attended the scene in Thornton Road at about 3.10pm yesteday (Friday, June 24).
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish a mattress that had been set on fire."
