A BURGLAR who stole an electric motorbike from an Ellesmere Port home has been handed a suspended sentence.
Jordan Neilson, 23, of Sunbury Road, Poulton, Wallasey, had previously pleaded guilty to the charge at the first opportunity at Chester Magistrates Court.
Chester Crown Court heard on Friday, June 17 that Neilson had entered the home on Scilly Close on May 3, 2021, with other people and had stolen the electric motorbike.
Judge Michael Leeming handed Neilson a 20-month prison sentence, suspended for 24 months.
As part of the suspended sentence, Neilson must complete 150 hours unpaid work and 20 days of a rehabilitation activity requirement.
He must also pay a £156 surcharge.
