FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a suspected arson attack in a village near Chester.
One fire crew attended the scene in Faulkners Lane, Christleton, at about 10.25pm yesterday (Tuesday, June 21).
A spokesman for Cheshir Fire and Rescue Service said: "A number of trees were on fire.
"Two hose reel jets and a water backpack were used to extinguish the flames.
"A thermal imaging camera was then utilised to check there was no further fire spread.
"The fire is believed to have been started deliberately."
