FIREFIGHTERS were called out to an incident in a wooded area in Chester.
One fire crew attended the scene in Western Avenue, Blacon, at about 6.30pm yesterday (Thursday, June 2).
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish a small fire in a wooded area off Western Avenue.
"It's believed the fire was started deliberately."
