MOTORISTS travelling on the M53 motorway near Ellesmere Port have suffered delays today (Monday, May 30) due to emergency repairs.
The M53 northbound lane one is closed on the exit slip road on the approach to the Cheshire Oaks junction 10 (A5117).
Congestion has built up along the stretch of motorway, with tailbacks heading back to junction 11, where the motorway meets the M56.
The southbound carriageway has been unaffected, but there are delays on the A5117 Cheshire Oaks roundabout itself.
