A WOMAN is due to appear in court charged with murder following the death of a man in Cheshire.
Police investigating the death of a 25-year-old man in Rode Heath have now charged Alice Wood in connection with the incident.
Ryan Watson died at about 11.40pm on Friday, May 6, after he was hit by a black Ford Fiesta Zetec on Sandbach Road, Rode Heath.
The driver of the car, Alice Wood, was arrested following the collision before being released on bail.
The 22-year-old was yesterday (Thursday, May 26) rearrested in connection with the incident and has since been charged with murder.
Wood, of Draycott Cross Road, Cheadle, has been remanded in custody and will appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court today (Friday, May 27).
