A MAIN road in Ellesmere Port is closed after a crash.
Traffic reports state that the A5032 Whitby Road is closed in both directions between Bedford Avenue and Pooltown Road - sparking heavy and queuing traffic.
Buses are reportedly diverting via Woodland Road and Stanney Lane.
There are eye-witness reports that the collision involves a child pedestrian. This hasn't been officially confirmed.
Cheshire Police has been approached for further information.
