A MAN has appeared at Chester Magistrates Court in connection with the supply of illegal drugs.

The charges follow an investigation into the supply of drugs in the Palacefields area by detectives from Runcorn Proactive CID.

Nathan Bligh, 30, of Lambourne Road, Liverpool, was charged with acquiring criminal property, being concerned in the supply of heroin and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (heroin).

He appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Friday, May 13, where he was further remanded to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday, June 10.

A 42-year-old woman from Runcorn was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and conspiracy to supply class A drugs (cocaine).

She has since been released under investigation.
