A HISTORIC railway building in Cheshire could be turned into a new community facility.
Great Sankey Parish Council is looking for steering group members to help convert Sankey Station into a new community hub.
The station building is not used with almost no trains now stopping at the station since the opening of Warrington West.
Applicants need to be based in or have a strong connection with Great Sankey, and have business skills or experience of working with or supporting local communities.

Steering group members will be expected to meet monthly, either online or in person and work with the project manager to ensure key delivery targets are met.
If you would like to join the steering group, please email pc@gs-pc.net before June 6 and answer the following questions.
1. What is your connection to Great Sankey?
2. What relevant experience do you have that could help this project?
3. What would you like to see the station used for?
4. How might this help drive wider aims to improve Great Sankey and create a more diverse offer?
