Travellers have set up camp on the Asda car park in Widnes
TRAVELLERS have set up camp outside a supermarket in Cheshire.
Thirteen caravans and vehicles parked at the Asda superstore on Widnes Road, Widnes, on Friday, May 6.
One supermarket shopper said: “I was surprised to see all the caravans and cars when I turned up to do my weekly shop.”
A spokesman for Halton Council said: “There are 13 caravans on the car park.
“A notice has been served for them to leave by 12 noon.”
