The luxury jewellers have unveiled their new boutique today (Wednesday 4 April).

Mappin & Webb part of the Watches of Switzerland Group, unveiled its new larger location after a major refurbishment saw the jewellers reopen its doors on street-level at 22-24 Eastgate Street.

Built into the new design is a hospitality area where the jewellers say customers can enjoy a glass of champagne or Chester's own 'unique' Mappin Webb cocktail.

The associated rich blue interior is still present in the new shop, which the company say will blend both traditional and contemporary elements within its design.

To celebrate it spring launch, it has a unique installation of butterflies which feature across both the exterior and throughout the interior.

The new boutique offers an enviable line-up of luxury timepieces, which includes a large Rolex area, as well newly introduced brands to Chester - Panerai, IWC and TAG Heuer, each with their own dedicated areas.

In addition to the luxury timepieces, the boutique, offers a fine selection of luxury jewellery which includes brands FOPE and Kiki McDonough, as well as Mappin & Webb’s own collections of diamond, gold and fine jewellery.

Craig Bolton, President, UK and Europe at the Watches of Switzerland Group said: "We are delighted to be opening in the new location. At Mappin & Webb, we are committed to providing our customers with a luxury shopping experience that differs to any other jewellery store by embracing our brands tradition and heritage.
