Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service have urged anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers.
Firefighters were called to the Seacombe Drive area late last night, where a fire appears to have been started deliberately.
A fire engine from Ellesmere Port arrived at 11.03pm on Monday (May 2) with firefighters using a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, which had started on a tree stump.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue service say anyone with information about the fire is urged to call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
