TWO fire crews were called out to an incident on a main on the outskirts of Chester.
Firefighters attended the scene on the A483 at Pulford, shortly before 1.45pm yesterday (Saturday, April 30).
Crews wearing breathing apparatus deployed a hose reel water jet to put out a saloon car well alight at the side of the road in the direction of Wrexham.
One lane of the carriageway was closed to enable them to deal with the incident.
The car was completely destroyed.
The cause is thought to be an electrical fault.
