A NEW authentic Turin and Neapolitan pizza restaurant has officially opened in Chester city centre.
Augusto Pizzeria opened its doors on Northgate Street earlier this month with an official launch celebration.
Turin and Neapolitan influenced pizzeria, with fresh produce at its heart; Augusto Pizzeria is the latest accomplishment of husband and wife team, chef Valentina Aviotti and Fabrizio Gobbato, owners of Da Noi on Bridge Street.
The restaurant has already been inundated with bookings since opening night.
Prepared by head chef Giovanni, who is also from Turin, guests enjoyed a selection of the pizzas on offer including the quattro formaggi, bufala and the carbonara pizza. Guests were also treated to a free-flowing prosecco bar and live DJ to celebrate the launch in style.
Owner Fabrizio Gobbato said: “We are so grateful to everyone who came out and supported our new venture. The evening was a fantastic way to celebrate everything Augusto and showcase what we have to offer. Chester is our home and we are beyond excited to add to its amazing restaurant scene with our authentic Italian pizzeria!”
Augusto Pizzeria has been years in the making and is one of the team’s first steps towards the creation of a complete Italian family of brands that embrace all aspects of Italian food and drink traditions. 'Nutmeg' currently comprises Da Noi and Augusto with more concepts in the pipeline.
Augusto Pizzeria is now open for reservations Wednesday-Sunday. For information, visit www.augustopizzeriachester.co.uk
