'HEAVY' traffic is anticipated in Deeside today due to a funeral which is expected to 'attract a significant number of mourners', police have said.
Officers say delays will be possible on some roads in the Connah's Quay area due to the service being held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 26.
It is anticipated that this will affect the High Street area, with motorists being told to 'allow for extra time' to travel.
No further details have been released but North Wales Police said that the funeral is for an unnamed member of the travelling community.
They added that the funeral is 'expected to attract a significant number of mourners'.
Police have also told local pubs to expect more patrons than usual today.
