POLICE are appealing for witnesses following the theft of plant machinery from a construction site near Ellesmere Port.
Chester Police and the Cheshire Police Rural Crime Team are investigating the theft of a backhoe loader, which they say has been potentially stolen from a construction site near the Ince area.
The theft is said to have happened between 12.30am and 1am on Thursday, April 21.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have seen a Backhoe loader around the Ince, Elton or Stanlow area, potentially a JCB, to contact 101 or visit the Cheshire Police website's public contact page, quoting incident number IML-1250384.
