A CAR left abandoned on a residential street in Cheshire has been seized by police.
Officers from Cheshire Police’s Roads and Crime Unit were notified of the vehicle on Thursday, April 14.
On further inspection, it was revealed that the car is believed to have been stolen from an address in the Liverpool area.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “Officers were called just after 11.30am on Thursday, April 14, to Allen Road, Runcorn, following reports of a blue Audi which had been left for a number of days.
“On further examination, it was revealed that the car is believed to have been stolen from an address in the Liverpool area.”
The spokesman added that enquires are continuing to find those responsible.
Posting on social media, the Roads and Crime Unit added: “If you think a vehicle looks out of place or you think something is suspicious, please let us know via 101.”
