VINTAGE vehicle fans are set for a treat as a popular transport festival rolls into Cheshire.

Sandbach Transport Festival returns on April 23 and 24 following a two-year hiatus due to Covid.

It has been 32 years since the initial launch of the festival, which attracts transport enthusiasts from across the county and beyond.

The Commons car park in Sandbach town centre will be host to various vehicles, from classic vintage cars to the latest designs in new cars.

There will be trucks of all sizes, tractors, motorcycles, military and emergency vehicles - old and new - alongside fairground rides, entertainment, live music, food, and drink for the whole family.

There will even be a Spitfire in attendance.

Sunday will see the return of the popular afternoon parade at 1pm.
