A KIND-HEARTED Chester fundraiser is thanking the local community after being able to spread Easter cheer to patients at a cancer treatment hospital.
Kimberly Noble was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018 and spent 16 weeks undergoing chemotherapy at the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
While there over the Christmas period, she was pleased to see some lovely people come in with selection boxes for everyone receiving treatment that week.
To show her gratitude, and to help patients currently undergoing treatment there, Kimberly asked the local community for support to donate as many Easter eggs as possible to donate to patients at the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
And the community responded brilliantly, as Kimberly was able to donate 180 Easter eggs, 53 creme eggs and 12 chocolate oranges.
She said: "These will hopefully brighten up the people of Delamere ward, where I spent 16 weeks having chemotherapy in 2018-2019.
"Staff are amazing and nothing is ever too much trouble, everyone comes together for each other.
"I'd like to say a special thanks to Make2ndscount secondary metastatic breast cancer charity, Tesco Chester and Little Sutton, alongside family/friends for your help in collecting all these eggs.
"I couldn't thank you all enough and know how much something like this means to us people going through such a rough time."
