A new community theatre project launches in Cheshire later this month, with an accompanying film premier.

Little Actors Theatre in Neston has announced that the project will have its official launch on Saturday 23 April at Neston Civic Hall, with a locally made film 'Neston- How We Came Through It' being shown at the event.

Led by professional actors, the project is not only geared to performers, with organisers saying that anyone from actors, dancers, singers, stage managers and designers to ushers, chaperones and writers able to attend and get involved.

Little Actors Theatre company hopes to use the project to stage performances from November this year.

It will be free for all to access thanks to crowdfunding via Spacehive as well as support from The Arts Council, Cheshire Community Foundation, The John Thaw Foundation, Neston Town Council and Cheshire West and Chester Council.

The event will start at 2pm and finish at 4pm, giving people a chance to find out more about the project and meet the creative team behind it.
