A CHESTER high school raised thousands of pounds for a good cause from a week of fundraising.
Upton-by-Chester High School Sixth Form students held their annual Charity Week to raise funds for their chosen charity, Choose Love, a UK-based non-governmental organisation, which is currently providing humanitarian aid to the Ukraine and to refugees around the world.
There was much excitement throughout the week, as learners organised bake sales, sporting competitions, art sale, dance off, a raffle and much more.
The highlight of the week was a non-uniform day for the whole school and a fancy dress event for the sixth form learners, who made a tremendous effort with some stunning costumes.
Over £4,350 was raised for the charity.
