Following its reopening last month, the adventure park has announced visiting schools will receive some great perks.

Cheshire's BeWILDerwood have said that schools booking for more than 15 people will receive discounted rates, and each child will be given a voucher to return for free.

The park, near to Cholmondeley Castle in South Cheshire, was a big success in Spring 2021 and is based on the children's book series by author Tom Blofeld.

Mr Blofeld, said: "We’re thrilled to finally be able to offer school trips at BeWILDerwood Cheshire. It’s something that is very popular over at our Norfolk site so we’re sure the schools of Cheshire and the surrounding areas will enjoy running WILD in the woods.

"BeWILDerwood is the perfect venue for a school trip. We really focus on traditional play, going back to basics which is what the children love so much – as well as trying to spot the odd Boggle or Twiggle too! There is nothing like getting outdoors, getting a little muddy and using your imagination to its fullest."

The team enourage visitors to read the books before or after visiting to extend the adventure and say that alongside storytelling and crafts activities, there is room for exploring science, maths and geography.

Visit must be booked during term time only and require a minimum of 15 paying visitors to qualify for the discounted rate. School rates are £10 per child and for any additional adults. The park offers one free adult spot for every five children.
