North West law firm Butcher and Barlow have welcomed one of its former trainees back into the fold after four years of working across the firm's offices in Cheshire and South Manchester.

Alex Williams described her return to the Frodsham offices as "coming home" after she became a Family Law solicitor with the firm that she had first joined as a paralegal in 2015.

She had previously achieved a Distinction in her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, Chester and a First Class Honours Degree from Aberystwyth University .

Since then, she has become an experienced solicitor in cases concerning divorce, matrimonial finances, private children law and separation, cohabitation and nuptial agreements.

Miss Williams said that she had "jumped at the chance" and that she was "looking forward to being back".

The solicitor added: "It is a large, high street firm with a personal touch and a great place to work."

Kevan Hankinson, Partner at Butcher and Barlow said: "Alex’s experience, empathy for her clients, and determination to make the process as painless as possible, will provide great comfort for those seeking legal support and we are delighted to have her back within the firm.

"Graduates are instrumental in helping to shape the Firm’s legacy of delivering the finest legal support for clients across the North of England."

Butcher and Barlow say that they believe strongly in training graduate recruits and that training contracts and summer vacation schemes are available for those interested in a career with the firm.
