Vauxhall Motors' Under Sevens team have been handed a boost with away kit sponsorship from a local recruitment firm.

Charterhouse Recruitment Services has supplied the side with an all-new kit to wear during away games across the Wirral and North West.

As the youngest section of players at the club, the team will continue representing the Motormen as they develop through the ranks of junior football.

U7s coach Mike Connell said: "Having Charterhouse Recruitment come on board and offer to sponsor a new away kit is fantastic news for all of our young players on the side.

"After lockdown, it’s more important than ever to get children active and engaged in sport, and being able to supply them all with their own kit gives them a real sense of pride in playing for us.

"A huge thanks has to go to Emma Ceballos and all of the team at Charterhouse for their support, which I’m confident will go a long way in helping us continue to develop these players over the next few years."

Emma Ceballos, managing director at Charterhouse Recruitment said: "As a business Ellesmere Port has been our North West base for years, and with many of us living in the area too, we felt it was important to give something back to the community.

"Vauxhall Motors do lots of great work, and its junior section is no exception, so when we heard the U7s were in need of sponsorship, we knew it was a worthy cause to get behind.

"I wish Mike and the team all the best for the rest of the season and look forward to seeing their development in years to come."
