The spread of Covid has seen many countries close their borders in an attempt to control the virus, and Australia is just one example.

At the time of writing only limited travel is allowed, with exemptions for Australian citizens, permanent residents, and immediate family members of Australian citizens or permanent residents.

However, later this month Australia will open up its borders again to vaccinated tourists and other visa holders from February 21, 2022.

Liverpool Airport flights to Australia for 2022

The travel agency Skyscanner has a number of options for travel to Australia for a huge variety of prices.

All of these locations and more are available to book via Skyscanner throughout most of the months of 2022 from the end of February.

Flights to Sydney next month will set you back £1,039 with one stop and £795 to Melbourne.  

From May, a return flight to Perth will start at £1,147 and Sydney from £902.

If you're wanting to travel in the summer holidays, Darwin flights start at £1,506 and Perth from £1,128.
